After Appointment GETTING STARTED

Once you have become a guardian or conservator, ASAGA wishes to provide trainings that will help you both succeed as a guardian or conservator for your loved one but also stay compliant with your requirements of the Court.  Here is helpful information to know once you are appointed.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT – You can complete this a few different ways.

  • ASAGA holds live trainings either in person or via webinar.  Check out our Calendar of Events if you prefer a live class
  • The Court has a video you can watch, take a quiz and receive your certificate.  CLICK HERE to be re-directed.  It is PART III of the three part video.

GUARDIANSHIP PLAN AND IMPLEMENTATION REPORTS  – training coming in October

If you are conservator ONLY, there is no plan to complete.  If you have guardianship authority, you’ll need to ensure a PLAN is filed within 30 days of appointment.  Within 90 days of appointment, you’ll need to do the Implementation and Inventory Report.
