The Court does schedule reviews of existing orders at least every three years and will use not only the statutes when overseeing a guardian or conservator but Alaska has adopted the National Guardianship Association’s Standards of Practices.  Download here and keep a copy for your information when you are making difficult decisions.  The NGA Ethical Principles and Alaska’s booklet on the Powers and Duties of Guardian/Conservatorship may also be helpful.
