Embracing the Challenge: Rising Stronger from Crisis to Opportunity 

In the face of crisis, courage, curiosity, and collaboration were the building blocks to embracing new challenges and starting anew to build a better guardianship program.  Tracey Bowles shares her experiences of embracing a guardianship program following a crisis.

Culturally Responsive Trauma Informed Communication 

Explore innovations in increasing Indigenous Health equity through the training of healthcare professionals in culturally responsive and trauma-informed practices.  The presenter will discuss the potential effects of the revitalization and integration of traditional healing practices in the provision of health and human services.

Ethical Considerations in Decision-Making for Adults                                   

Explore factors to consider when supporting others in making decisions, considering ethical standards and best practices.  Discuss ethical decision-making framework to utilize for guardians and other supporters, evaluate steps to take when supporting others in making decisions.

Forging Connections:  Establishing Common Ground, Shared Values and a Commitment to Collaboration in Guardianship with Tracey Bowles 

Working with vulnerable populations in guardianship presents many challenges which may be different depending on your role.  In this session, we will attempt to identify our shared values and goals and hone our superpowers of collaboration.
