If you are moving into Alaska and already have guardianship or conservatorship in another State, you may be able to transfer the order into Alaska. If you have an order in Alaska and are moving to another State, you may be able to transfer outside Alaska. This short video will give an overview of the process either way. The links will provide the correct petition needed to start the process. Call us at ASAGA with any questions.
If you need to make another change to an existing guardian or conservatorship, please use PG 190, the Petition for Review form. Only use PG 751 or PG 753 if you wish to transfer an existing order. If you do not yet have guardianship and need to file, please see our pages on petitioning.
